Tiga back in Sep 2004.
Out of curiosity, I poked Tiga in his backside the other day and I was surprised to discover that the area formerly known as testicles is now nothing but an empty skin.
The vet had removed the testicles (inner) while retaining the exterior skin! Amusing suff! This is something new to me, that the vet would retain for cosmetic purpose?! I had thought initially some parts remained.
Too much information? =D
No wonder he has been putting on so much weight. Moody man.

It has been almost 2 weeks since Tiga has done the deed. Life has resumed and he is totally back to his old self with some changes, for the better.
He sleeps more now (maybe recuperating nia) and is very much quieter. He was creating such a din day and night previously, it’s actually kind of creepy now that I hardly hear him. Sometimes I even forget that he is sleeping just behind me in the balcony.
Last Sabbath, church mates were asking me about Tiga’s operation and Dave remarked how come his ahem! is chao-ta one?
Tsk. Simi chao-ta?!!
The brown thing is his wound recovering lah! -__-
And if you need to know, the vet did not snipped it off, they merely operated from there.

Contrary to how I would normally spend my Sundays, I had a rather fruitful and busy one last weekend.
I finally got around to do something I’ve been procrastinating since forever! I finally brought Tiga to the vet and ahem! got him sterilised.
I picked up the phone and called the vet and made appointment. FINALLY!
When the clinic took down my details for the appointment, I asked if I could choose the timing. The lady over the other side said no and that I would have to bring Tiga down at 9.30am.
!!!
9.30am on a Sunday?!
Then she added they will only proceed with the sterilisation if the doctor determined Tiga is healthy enough for the procedure.
That night, I took a good look at Tiga and with fingers-crossed, pray that he can get everything done cos I don’t want to wake up so early on Sunday again!

.
On Sunday, I got to the clinic on time, but unbelievably I lost my way there — a familiar place for me! I blame it on waking up too early on Sunday, my brain is still in zzz mode. Haiz.
Everything went smoothly and I went to pick Tiga after lunch. When he got out of the carrier at home, his legs was shaking. Not sure whether he was too traumatised being left with a bunch of strangers or the medication is making him so.
He went straight to his hiding place and didn’t come out till night. Poor boy.
He’s recovering well and is back to his old self now. Still as kpo if not more kpo then before.

Few days ago when I got home, Tiga didn’t come scurrying to me. This can only mean 2 things: he has done something naughty or he is sleeping and too lazy to move.
I scanned the house, doesn’t seem like anything amiss, so I searched his favourite sleeping spots — not there also.
There was not a sound from him. Very unusual.
Then finally I spotted him.

There he was, peeking out from the paperbag.
Trying to be a spy issit Tiga?! Body too big lah.. cannot make it.
Yesterday when I got home, he didn’t perform his receptionist duty again. I looked at the paperbag but he was not there. Then I walked closer to realise he has now gone inside of the paperbag.
-___-”

Comfortable only.

Bwahahaha!! Love this! I have yet to try it on Tiga but there was once he dashed into my room and dashed out again just when I walk in, right into my left shin! I stood stunned from the pain and I think he also abit concussed from that knock. Silly kitty.

My place is so dirty.
Dave is back and now there are 2 of us in the house, hence doubling the ability to dirty the house. Not to mention there is also the master of the house — Tiga, with its fur shedding capability.
I’ve been sneezing quite badly lately in the mornings and then mid days or even nights. The frequency of sneeze attack just soared and it can only mean one thing — the house is too dirty and there are too much cat fur around the house.
Seriously I can’t really remember when was the last time I cleaned the house, most likely to be a month back or so. But I think the condition now is really quite bad so I decided it’s time.
I got down to dust, vacuum and mop the house last night.
When I started dusting the house, Tiga peeks from his hiding place and with a tinge of fear in his eyes looks at me suspiciously.
Then as usual, he would be petrified when I start to vacuum. He would dash/hop from my room (when I’m there) to the storeroom, then from there (when I get near there) to the living room, and finally from the living room back to my room.
When I get to mopping, he would mostly by now be lying on my bed, with a disdained look of half-closed eyes, as if telling me to not frighten him with the vacuum cleaner again. Haha!!
I can breathe easy now and I’m happy. =D
Major spring cleaning awaits before the empress returns for CNY. *stressed*

Poor Tiga has been terribly neglected.
Yep sure I’m around in the house, but mostly I’ll be either watching teevee or on the Internet msn-ing or playing a fast and furious game of Scrabulous (not the facebook one, the real-time one) with Mosquito.
His usual ritual when I reach home would be coming out of the corner he has been sleeping in and look longingly at me to see if I noticed him.
Then when I spot him and call him, he will do his stretch and meow at the same time, as if talking to me.
Then knowing I will proceed to my room, he speeds past me to beat me to my room’s door, waiting to be the first to dash through the door and onto my bed the moment the door is opened.
Then depending where I decide to spend my time — living room or my room, he would sit near me and look at me longingly again, for some affection.
I give some pats here and there but most times he would have to resort to either rubbing against me, jump onto the table, put his paws on my leg to get my attention.
When he does that I’ll feel so guilty for ignoring him and play with him for erm like 5minutes and back to my own stuff again.
I can so understand if one day Tiga decides to disown me. Sigh.

Tiga, all curled up.

Tiga tends to get quite needy at times, especially when I’ve not been home much or it’s straight to bed when I get home.
He shows his neediness in a rather vocal manner, meowing loudly until I answer or call out his name.
With my reply, he will locate where I am in the house and come scurrying.
Then while I do my own stuff, he will sit or lie nearby, quietly. All he wanted was to be in my presence.

In the hands of Dave. Yep, he used to be this small.
