This morning as I was turning out from my carpark, after checking there is no oncoming traffic I stepped on my accelerator only to be greeted with the butt of a woman!! I jammed the brake and stared at her butt as she bent over to pick up a bird from the road.
I assume the bird is unwell cos it seems to be in serious need of feathers and when the woman dropped the bird on the grass patch, it didn’t even try to hop away. All these while I watched in astonishment and am just glad I didn’t step hard on the accelerator.
Really not in need to be in the headlines tomorrow — “woman killed by car when saving sick bird from road”.

> Xmas gathering with the poly gang was at Small Boobs’ new place. We now have 2 kids to entertain and I was totally exhausted by end of the day, tortured by the kids, and one hasn’t started walking yet, wait till THAT happens. Ash was totally spoilt by the aunties when she received PRINCESS stationery set, PRINCESS book and PRINCESS watch (no i did not get her anything PRINCESS) for her Xmas presents. I highly suspect it would be everything Thomas & Friends or Bob the Builder for Travis next time. HA. Over the top aunties.
> Watched NYE fireworks at our usual place and with all the shouting and laughing at dinner, I woke up on first day of 2010 with NO VOICE. Everyone found it amusing, except me. Those who called me on mobile that day — not funny.
> Attempted to clear my leave (for the first time in my life) during the last week of 2009, at first I thought it would boring cos I would only be staying in S’pore, but it did not turned out too bad. Shopping, movie and eating on a weekday afternoon is fab. The only 2 downsides were the malls were packed like weekends (cos 10,000 others are not at work as well) and I fell sick from first day of leave and is STILL coughing now. =(

- At Haagen Daz wanting to buy a logcake and almost fainted when we found out the price is $130! Bought Swensen’s at 1/4 of the price instead. #
