Last night was 冬至 (literally mean: winter reach), which according to mom is a festival of greater importance than CNY. So per Chinese tradition we are to have dinner together and eat 汤圆 (dumplings). Mom bought the old fashioned glutinous rice dough in pink and white and we rolled our own汤圆. It really gave my arm a good workout cos they started aching when I was half-way through the rolling. End product was YUM!
- 1st headache, now stuffed nose. NOOOO!! How this can be?!!! #
- During lunch the kopi uncle addressed me as 大姐. I looked very old MEH.. @#$% #

Early this morning I was near the staircase outside my house when I hear this scratching sound “shashasha”. Popping my head suddenly onto the corridor I saw this:
Not a small dog right but so suddenly I appeared I gave the dog a shock and he did a little jump. I almost LOL but I held back cos I was afraid he would bite or bark at me. Paiseh mah you know.
After he did the little jump he started sniffing the plants outside my house while peeping at me, it’s as if he was trying to pretend he’s fine to hide his embarrassment. So demure for such a big dog.
I’m sure all of us have managed to surprise (read: shock) someone somehow or rather, but have you surprised a dog and had him do a little jump?
I consider this an achievement. HAHA!!

> Got my finger gnawed by a kitten at church. My finger was seriously swollen the next day. Fierce kitten got really angry when we tried to shower its legs and body covered in grease (which we discovered is actually glue). Poor kitten. No sight of it when we return to church to next week. Looked exactly like Tiga but not the personality.
> Tiga did a drift stunt when we had visitors over 2 Sundays ago. He dashed out from balcony, did a sharp turn near the front door but failed cos his momentum was too great and slammed into the vase near the door as he drift across the floor. Hilarious.
They are coming home for holidays!!
