QueenMother was telling us her trick in making Ash sleeps on time is to tell her about this monster (aka 魔魔) that comes out at night to catch kids who doesn’t sleep early. We died laughing but it works on Ash.

QM’s MIL however does not believe in scare tactics and once secretly told Ash there is no 魔魔, thus Ash decided to challenge QM during bedtime.

QM being her usual birdy self, immediately whip out her phone and said “No 魔魔?! Do you want me to call him now?” Ash at this point got scared and was probably thinking her challenge was a bad idea.

QM then press on the ringer to have the phone ring and asked Ash “魔魔 is calling already! Do you want to talk to him?!”

“NO! NO! I’m asleep already!!” Ash covers face with her smelly pillow.

Morale of story: never challenge your birdy mom unless you are able to counter her tactics.
