Other than the most common question in the world — are you feeling better? The other most common question posted to me in the last week was — so now that you’ve gone through this, do you have any new revelation in life?

Now, that is a big question, a question that can’t be answered in a word or 2. Like for the first question, I could simply answer “yep!” followed by a cheery smile. I could probably answer the second question the same way, but the questioner would be expecting some form of elaboration.

I’m a lazy person, I don’t like to give lengthy explanations or answers, but this is a good question.

My answer would be yes.

How could one have no new insights of your life after such a trip?

- I realised who are important and who are irrelevant
- I’m glad I didn’t stinge on going for good holidays (tho that’s the main reason why I’m so broke, but no regrets)
- My philosophy of play first say later is reinforced
- I’m glad I didn’t wait my life away
- I’m grateful I’m surrounded by people who truly cares about me
- I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn how to trust

Life goes on. Enjoy it.

Best Wedding Picture: Jumping for Joy
Uploaded with plasq’s Skitch!

If I’m ever going to take any form of wedding photos, this is definitely on the list. Are her bridesmaids dancers or what? Can jump so high and do stunts… wearing dresses no less.

Rest of the brilliant wedding photos.

I love the color theme idea!

I’m pretty frustrated cos the road is longer than I expected and it’s going to be tough.

Everyone keeps telling me to stay strong, be positive etc but none of them are in my shoes, so yes while all of them meant well, I can’t help but sigh.

Stop telling me what diet to adopt cos I will continue to eat and drink everything in moderation, I will not quit anything and change my diet drastically. It didn’t help prevent anything anyways, so why only make the drastic move when things happened.

So yes, keep eating healthy and exercise regularly — it doesn’t guarantee you anything but it’ll make you feel good, for not being a big fat slob.

Take a walk with me on my long road and stop asking me so many questions cos I don’t have all the answers. Only God has.

Well before my scheduled time, I have been dressed. Sitting on the bed watching some mindless program on the television, I felt a tinge of uneasiness — cos I’m not wearing my bra. -__-

Soon the time came and I had to be wheeled on the bed. I had to leave my glasses behind and it felt so weird to be fully conscious lying on the bed, with everyone walking along with me.

Then just like how they always do it in the movie, I was wheeled behind the door while everyone stood outside.

While waiting outside the theatre, I was asked a few repeated questions — to ensure I had absolutely nothing on me.

Then finally off I am into the theatre, I was slided onto the table and bright light was shone on me. I was shivering as they struggle to get the drip into my vein successfully, in the end they had to insert at my wrist.

I was shivering cos it was so cold! Thankfully they soon brought a heated blanket and tucked me in. I’m all ready to sleep now.

Soon I heard a familiar voice and in less than 2 sentences I was gone. When I next woke up, it was over and it was good.

In my grogginess, I thank God.

It all happened in a blur, cos I was without my glasses. Perhaps it was a good thing I didn’t get to see everything so clearly — it’s not so scary.

We made the mistake of asking Aussie angmohs to help snap photos of us during our trip. Here’s proof why they are so bad and that we should stick to seeking help from Asians — who can self-take and still capture perfectly themselves WITH the relevant background.

Australia 2008
Where is Flinder’s Street station?! Maybe she’s trying to capture the tower.

Australia 2008
Barely seeing the 12 Apostles.

Australia 2008
Now totally cannot see.

You know, we didn’t just pick any uncle or auntie off the street, we actually spotted those using pro-looking cameras thinking they have the skills, but alas! James say they just have the money to buy expensive cameras. Period. *facepalm*

Australia 2008
Finally one decent one, but ofcos there is no background. The angmohs are pretty focus on the people in the photo as you can see.
