envelope at work

It’s ok if the sender decides to type the address and recipient in such descending indent manner. It’s ok, really.

But… who in the world sticks their stamps like that? I had to do a second take and it was indeed stuck neatly with the sides perfectly aligned and such.

My conclusion: either the person is a neat freak, or is just simply too free.

Just some stuff that makes my work day that teeny weeny bit less dull.

Not exactly forever, but they last.

Just like my Nokia 6510. Despite being despised by many as old, no colour, monotone, small memory size, no camera etc, I love it! For its simplicity and durability (enduring my many many drops from atrocious heights).

My only complain thusfar is the adaptor. It’s really got nothing to do with the phone itself per se, but they come together lah. The adaptor I’m using now is actually from my previous phone(long story, lazy to explain), so, the speed of charging the phone cannot be compared to those power adaptors of the new Nokia models. It takes the whole night (almost but long enough) just to charge from 2 bars to full.

The speed used to be tolerable until I discover how fast those new adaptors charges my phone. Just merely over lunch, my phone is fully charged from one bar. I ish impressed (fine, fine, I suakoo can?).

Then someone asked me to bring my adaptor for our weekend trip. Big mistake. Her phone will spend the whole trip attached to my adaptor lorz. Might as well connect to 2 AA batteries maybe better, as least it’s mobile and not connected via cable to the socket.

It has been 4years 7months since I got it at $30+ (if I didn’t recall wrongly, so cheap! I think already also want to laugh) and it’s still going strong.

Ok lah, only the cover abit cracked (from the many many drops), colour of the cover abit worn off at the corners and sides, sometimes auto shutdown by itself, screens abit scratched (cos of someone’s crystal), everything is well and fine.

If, one day, due to its ripe old age the phone should die on me, the next phone I want to get is… Nokia 6100. Hohoho!!

Cannot jump too fast mah, one step at a time. Upgrade to a phone with colour can already.

Strong like Superman.

For I’ve forgotten how long, I have not seen the clear blue sky I love. But today as I drive to work, the road looks so clear, it felt weird. Too used to the hazey condition already. Jialat.

I looked up the sky… f w a h~

So blue one. Very nice. The air smells fresher too (minus the fume from the exhaust of cars/trucks/buses on the road).

During the hazier days, when the PSI hit 130, people in office were compraining how bad it is and how they can’t breathe. Then amidst all the compraining, someone suddenly commented, “Then why you all still go clubbing?! I’m sure the PSI in clubs are like at least 1,000.”

Abit true.

Now with my new sitting arrangement, I’m facing a big glass panel, which the sunlight is now reflecting off the wall and shining straight at me, blinding me. Haiz.

Got haze comprain. No haze also comprain.

We shouldn’t be too demanding, should we?

Yes I know it’s belated, but celebration goes for a month, no? So just like during CNY, we can all greet each other Gong Xi Fai Cai everyday for 15 days in a row if we are in the mood right? Heh.

Anyways, I’m out of point.

Was invited to QM junior’s full month celebration yesterday. The couple had invited their entire world (relatives included), so we speculated before arriving that spillover to the corridor shall be inevitable.

When we were taking the lift up, I confidently pressed “10″. But as we walk near where her house is suppose to be, it looked suspiciously quiet. As we walk nearer, it’s confirmed I remembered the wrong floor cos her unmistakable red door is missing. Thank goodness some kind soul called me at that moment and directed me to the right floor, which is just one floor up.

And indeed, buffet spread and guests spilled to the corridor. Got abit the feel of Hari Raya — you know, the many food and many people. Hoho!

The star of the day is on the corridor as well, cradled in the arms of a relative. I totally missed her and only saw QM and the food.

I’m hungry mahz. Rushed out without eating anything you know.

QM noticing how I missed out the star, quickly directed my attention to her. I was impressed by the amount of hair she has. Hmm.. indeed taking after the parents, especially the dad.

She’s a real easy-going baby, despite everyone around her talking at the top of their lungs, she continues to sleep, with her brows deeply furrowed tho. But she’s good. Except for the moments she got hungry and tries to suckle me!

Soon, colleagues with babies came and suddenly I felt like I’m in a childcare centre. Gaah!

After hanging around for awhile, I decided it’s time for my nap and off I went home to sleep. Not after making a detour to a very packed town.

I still feel tired.. Zzzz.

I woke up this morning, feeling alittle unhappy. Rays from sun peered through the wooden blinds in my room. I reached for my mobile and snoozed it to wake me up in another 20minutes’ time.

Tiga started making noise when he hear the alarm going off. I pulled my pillow over my head, ignoring his calls, for another short wink of 20minutes.

Alarm went off again. After some struggling, I managed to pull myself out of bed.

While washing up, I was reminded that I have no breakfast. I had ran out of cereal at home.

After filling Tiga’s bowl with food grumpily, I stood in the kitchen, with a tinge of sadness. There is a sense of emptiness… in the kitchen cabinets/shelves and fridge and my tummy.

My place has officially ran out of food. Ok lah, actually still have food. But expired ones I suspect. Haiz.

Please ignore me while I go into temporary depression.
