So, last last week, I went for a meeting at Sentosa Cove.

The sales office was located in the furthest part (or so I felt cos I drove a long while before reaching) of the entire cove, it was by the coast line and the view was for once with NO container vessels in sight!

Breathtaking!

So nice to be working in such an environment.

I was given a tour of the south cove, my business partner was telling me that the land parcels for sale starts at $4million. Then the buyer would have to engage their own architect to build the house, which can cost another $2-3million easily.

I remained cool and collected on the front, replying with a soft “wow”, but in my mind, I was screaming, “Fwahfwahfwah!!”.

I mean, that is alot of money, isn’t it?

It’s like there is this big bright neonlight signage bearing the words “SUGAR DADDY” blinking in your face.

As we drove past an almost completed house with a chauffeur dusting the Rolls Royce parked upfront, my business partner read my thoughts out loud, “Good place to look for sugar daddies huh..”. And we both laughed.

Even though it’s only Sentosa, but having a house on the coast line with a view without container vessels is just fabulous. You find me one beach in Singapore with view that you don’t see any form of industrial development lah.

Fine fine! Maybe you can find on Kusu Island, St John’s Island, and even Pulau Ubin perhaps.. but the point is, we hardly go these ulu places right?

Anywho, I’m just pleasantly surprised to discover there is actually somewhere with a proper sea view in our super industrialised Singapore. Nice.

sentosa cove - a view of your work place.. how attractive
