I used to have this standard in choosing my boyfriend: handsome + rich. Very bimbo I know but well… we can all dream right?

I was once asked this question: which guy would you choose — handsome but poor OR rich but ugly? My answer is handsome but poor, coz no money can still earn right? My friend’s answer is even more power, she’ll go for the rich but ugly and then keep the handsome but poor guy as toy boy. Terrible thought, but then again, quite true hor. Haha!!

Just a guys have their standards for girls, we have our standards for guys too. Among my buddies, here’s what we came up:

Most important of all, a guy must be goodlooking;
if he is not goodlooking, then he must be tall;
if he is not even tall, then he must be rich;
if he is not even rich, then he must be a nice person;
if he is not even nice, then let fate decides (shui yuan).

Though I would dream of a handsome and rich guy as boyfriend, if such a guy actually liked me, I think I’ll freak out. I’ll feel so insecure, wondering if the other girls will deem I’m not good enough for him, or what does he actually see in me etc etc. Hai~ Life is filled with such dilemmas.

When will we learn to have the confidence to embrace whatever comes along? And how many times did we let opportunities slip us by simply coz we refuse to take risk?
