nasi padangI was just walking past an old coffeeshop opposite Great World City during lunchtime on Monday. The coffeeshop is packed and everyone, seriously, everyone there is eating Nasi Padang.

Suddenly I felt very hungry. My mouth watered just thinking about assam fish, rendang and all the other nice spicy dishes. I realised I haven’t eaten Nasi Padang for a long time. I miss it!!

Nasi Padang is something I just can’t get tired of, there must be something in the food. When I was in Poly, I had Nasi Padang almost everyday tho the queue is always incredibly long coz there is only one Malay stall in the congested canteen 6 of SP. Ramadan is my happiest period, coz why? You’ve guessed it — there is no queue.

There is a Nasi Padang eating place in Macpherson (near the huge kopitiam) that I frequent regularly when I was working near there. The Nasi Padang there is so nice. The eating place is called — “Nasi Padang”. So cute hor.

I’m craving for Penang Laksa now too. It’s an acquired taste I reckon. Some people dislike it for its sourness and fishy taste. Oh well…

I want my food now!!
